Professional Education and History:
Dr. Longe attended the Medical School at the College of Medicine, University of Ilorin, in Nigeria where he graduated with high honors and was awarded Best Student in Pediatrics, Hematology & OB/GYN.

Dr. Longe completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the Woodhull Hospital Program, in Brooklyn, NY. He was Assistant Chief Resident in his final year of training.

Dr. Longe practiced internal medicine for nine years including many years as the attending physician for the Brockton Neighborhood Health Center, winning awards for his public service. Developing a passion for research and a desire to help cancer patients, Dr. Longe returned to academia to become a specialist in Hematology and Oncology.

He then completed his fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Boston University School of Medicine & Boston University Medical Center. Passionate about research,  Dr. Longe completed the coursework for a Master of Arts in Clinical Investigation at Boston University School of Graduate Medical Sciences. He will defend his thesis in 2010.

Dr. Longe  was a clinical instuctor at Harvard Medical School where he taught third year medical students in an office setting from 1998 until 2005. He also held an academic appointment at Boston College.
