Dr. Nini Bermudez-Webb served as Associate Medical Director of the department of Radiation Therapy at the Indiana Regional Cancer Center and was instrumental in the formation and building of the cancer program at Community Hospitals Indianapolis. She received her Bachelor of Science and medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico . She completed her radiation training and served as clinical instructor at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester , N.Y. In 1989, Dr. Bermudez founded the Multidisciplinary Physicians Breast Cancer Conference in Indianapolis to promote the sharing of information on new developments in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer among physicians in the greater Indianapolis area. In 1996, she was elected to the Fellowship of Distinguished Physicians of Community Hospitals Indianapolis.
Dr. Bermudez is a Fellow of the American College of Radiation Oncology and an active member of several professional organizations including the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Radiological Society of North America. She is a member of the professional advisory board for the Wellness Community of central Indiana and participates in other community boards.
